Azerbaijani PM meets with Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources

Today, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with the Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Donmez, Report mentions, referring to the Cabinet of Ministers.

The sides noted the importance of the agreements reached at the 9th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation held in Ankara in February this year to expand economic and trade relations between the two countries.

Touching upon the importance of energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey, the meeting emphasized the role of joint transnational projects in ensuring Europe's energy security.

They expressed confidence that the discussions and documents to be signed within the 1st Azerbaijan-Turkey Energy Forum in Baku will contribute to the development of energy partnerships between the two countries.
