On the initiative and with the organization of the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry, a tree planting campaign was held on the territory of the Gobustan Hybrid Power Plant on the occasion of November 8 - Victory Day, Report informs referring to the ministry.
Employees of the ministry’s staff and subordinate structures took part in the event.
During the campaign, 298 different types of trees were planted on the territory of the Gobustan Hybrid Power Plant.
Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov congratulated the employees of the ministry on Victory Day, spoke about the courage of the Azerbaijani victorious army under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, and noted that the people respectfully honor the memory of the martyrs who gave their lives for the territorial integrity of the country.
The employees of the ministry visited the families of martyrs in Gobustan, presented them with gifts in connection with the Victory Day.
