Azerbaijan starts importing antifreeze from another two countries

In the first eight months of 2022, Azerbaijan imported 1,896 tons of antifreeze worth $2.723 million, respectively, down 28% and up 5.4% from the previous year, Report informs, referring to the State Statistical Committee.

In the reporting period, the country imported 727.51 tons (-51.8%) of antifreeze worth $705,420 (-40.8%) from Russia, 205.76 tons (-32.5%) worth $537,500 (-20.3%) from Germany, 258.1 tons (+51%) worth $466,240 (+78%) from Turkiye, 359.9 tons (-0.7%) worth $325,340 (+40.1%) from Ukraine, and 115.1 tons (+7.6%) worth $304,240 (+47%) from Belgium.

Azerbaijan imported antifreeze from Australia (0.5 tons worth $6,450) and Romania (0.02 tons worth $30 ) for the first time in 11 years (official statistics on foreign trade in open access since 2011). 0.5 tons of antifreeze worth $6,450 and 0.02 tons worth $30 were bought from those countries, respectively.
