Azerbaijan's revenues from operation of main oil pipelines amounted to about $317M

Azerbaijan's revenues from the operation of main oil pipelines, including the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, amounted to 538.277 million manats ($316.6 million at the current exchange rate) in the first half of 2024, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.

Compared to the indicator for January-June 2023, these revenues increased slightly, by only 0.5%.

According to statistics, in the first half of 2024, losses in the main oil pipeline network amounted to 2,200 tons against 1,700 tons for the same period last year, an increase of 29.4%.

In general, 19.238 million tons of oil were transported through main oil pipelines in the first half of 2024, which is 2.1% lower than the indicator for January-June 2023.

At the same time, approximately 75.2% of the total pumped volume was transported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.
