Azerbaijan's profit from methanol export drops by 37%

According to customs declarations, Azerbaijan exported 169,196.35 tons (-11.7%) of methanol (methyl alcohol) worth $37,806,470 (-37.04%) in January-May of this year, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

The share of methanol in non-oil sector exports was 2.58%, and its share in the country's total exports was 0.23%.
