Azerbaijan ready to transport gas to planned gas hub in Turkiye, says deputy energy minister 

Azerbaijan is ready to transport gas to the planned natural gas hub in Turkiye, Deputy Minister of Energy Elnur Soltanov said, Report informs, citing foreign media sources.

"If such supplies are useful for foreign companies operating in the country, Azerbaijan can supply gas to the hub in Turkiye," he said.

The deputy minister said that the gas is mainly produced by Shah Deniz Consortium: "SOCAR is represented in this consortium. However, gas transportation must be economically substantiated for other companies in the consortium. If it is possible to make money from it, they will be ready."

Azerbaijan's confirmed gas reserves are at 2.6 trillion cubic meters.
