From January through July 2022, Azerbaijan produced 27.3 billion cubic meters of natural gas, Report informs, citing the country’s Energy Ministry.
According to the ministry, this figure is 13.3% or 3.2 billion cubic meters more than in the first seven months of 2021.
The ministry said that 7.9 billion cubic meters of gas were produced from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) field block, and 14.8 billion cubic meters from Shah Deniz. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) accounted for 4.6 billion cubic meters of the produced gas.
