From January through June 2022, Azerbaijan produced 23.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas, Report informs, citing the country’s Energy Ministry.
According to the ministry, this figure is 15.3% or 3.1 billion cubic meters more than in the first six months of 2021.
The ministry said that 6.9 billion cubic meters of gas were produced from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) field block, and 12.6 billion cubic meters from Shah Deniz. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) accounted for 3.9 billion cubic meters of the produced gas.
