Declared gas imports to Azerbaijan in January-April 2024 amounted to 281.2 million cubic meters, which is 76.6% lower than in the same period last year, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.
These are volumes registered (declared) by the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
The cost of gas imported to Azerbaijan in January-April 2024 amounted to $42.154 million, decreasing by 79.2% compared to the same period last year.
According to statistical data, the entire volume of gas imports during the reporting period came from Turkmenistan. At the same time, the growth of Turkmen gas supplies during this period increased by 29.5% in quantitative terms and by 28.8% in value terms.
In 2023, declared gas imports to Azerbaijan amounted to 2.332 billion cubic meters worth $361.997 million.
