The minister added that new projects will further increase Azerbaijan's export opportunities in the coming years: "This is also important for the development of the Southern Gas Corridor, which is the pinnacle of the independent energy policy promoted by the head of state. The Southern Gas Corridor is a unique project that will expand Azerbaijan's reliable partnership as a strategically important gas supplier in Europe.
"Over two years, 21 billion cubic meters of gas were supplied to Europe. Our main priority is to double the gas supply to Europe to 20 billion cubic meters in 2027."
