Azerbaijan-Albania energy cooperation discussed in UAE

Within COP 28 in Dubai, a meeting was held between the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan, Parviz Shahbazov, and the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy of Albania, Belinda Balluku, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Energy.

The sides expressed satisfaction with the development of relations between the two countries on a new level. The important role of energy cooperation with Azerbaijan in ensuring energy security and the development of Albania as a country of gas transit was noted. The sides exchanged views on cooperation in the gasification of the Albanian city of Korce, the supply of crude oil, and other promising directions.

Issues related to the establishment of a Joint Intergovernmental Commission on the basis of the Working Group on Economic, Industrial, and Technological Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Albania and the holding of the Commission's meeting in Baku were also discussed.
