About 300 companies from 37 countries have confirmed their participation in Baku Energy Week, which will be held on June 4-6, Naila Aliyeva, project manager of Iteca Caspian company, said at a press conference, Report informs.
Aliyeva highlighted that it is an important event for the energy sector of the region.
She noted that along with Azerbaijan, the US, Germany, Australia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bahrain, the UAE, Bulgaria, the UK, Czech Republic, China, Algeria, Finland, France, Georgia, India, Iraq, Israel, Sweden, Italy, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Hungary, Monaco, the Netherlands, Norway, Uzbekistan, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, Türkiye, Ukraine and Japan will be represented at the event:
"Among these countries, companies from Sweden, India and Slovenia are participating in the event for the first time. The structure of this year's exhibition has been renewed due to new companies, which make up 15% of the total number of participants. Most of them are foreign participants that attach great interest in green energy in Azerbaijan. Some 40% of the exhibition area is made up of well-known companies, regular participants of exhibitions."
The Energy Ministry of Azerbaijan supports the events held within the framework of the Baku Energy Week, and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) acts as the main partner.
