Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University has become the second educational institution in the country to enter THE World University Rankings, Report informs via the State Agency for Science and Higher Education.
Previously, Baku State University was listed in the ranking. Since May, a strategic partnership has been ongoing between the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan and the International Ranking Agency Times Higher Education (THE) in the direction of increasing the competitiveness of higher education in the country and creating advanced research universities.
"It's very pleasing to see that Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University has entered the largest and most comprehensive global university ranking in the world. Azerbaijan has set very serious strategic goals for the development of higher education.
