School bell rings in Shusha after 33 years

For the first time in 33 years, the sound of the school bell echoed through the streets of Shusha, signaling a new beginning for education in the city. On September 16, the children of families who have returned to Shusha after a long hiatus started their academic year at Shusha City Secondary School No. 1.

The newly reconstructed school boasts an impressive capacity of 960 students, with five blocks and three floors designed to meet modern educational standards. The school comprises 40 classrooms, each accommodating 24 students, providing an optimal learning environment for the city's youth.

This historic academic year commenced with 113 students embarking on their educational journey in Shusha. The school's dedicated teaching staff, consisting of 18 experienced educators, will guide and nurture these young minds as they navigate through their studies.

To ensure the safety and convenience of the students, special transportation arrangements have been made to ferry them from their residential buildings to the school.
