New state university to be established in Azerbaijan

Shaki State University may be established on the basis of the Shaki branch of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (ASPI), according to the report of the Cabinet of Ministers for 2020.

Currently, staff training on 8 specialties is underway in the Shaki branch. The branch admits 270-280 students every year. Nearly 1,000 students are studying in the branch.
