New school constructed by Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Azerbaijan's Aghstafa district

Several new school buildings have been commissioned for the new school year with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, including the Zalimkhan Village Secondary School named after A. Asimoghlu in the Aghstafa district of Azerbaijan, Report informs.

The school’s original building, constructed in 1930, and a second structure from 1988, had both fallen into disrepair. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation constructed a new building designed to accommodate 220 pupils.

The new school building features 12 classrooms, laboratories for physics and chemistry, rooms for informatics, military training, first aid, and labor training, as well as a library, canteen, assembly and sports halls, and an outdoor sports ground.

This three-story building is fully equipped with modern furniture and tools, with subject rooms and laboratories fitted with visual aids.

Renovation and landscaping were carried out in the school’s yard, with decorative shrubs and trees planted, along with the installation of an up-to-date illumination system.
