New school building, destroyed due to Armenian aggression, opened in Azerbaijan’s Tartar

The opening of a new building of Shikharkh rural secondary school named after Dagestan Azizov, destroyed as a result of the Armenian terror during the Patriotic War, took place in Azerbaijan’s Tartar district.

Report’s employee posted to Terter informs that the opening ceremony was attended by the head of the Tartar District Executive Power Mustagim Mammadov, Advisor to the Minister of Education Elnur Aliyev, Head of the Department of Organization and Management of General Education of the Ministry of Education Orkhan Abbasov, heads of media structures and media representatives.

The director of the educational institution Ramil Agayev told those present that the new modular school, in which 22 teachers work and 80 students study, consists of 12 classes.

The head of the Executive Power Mustagim Mammadov reminded that the Tartar district was affected the most during the Patriotic War: “16 schools, 11 kindergartens and a large number of real estate objects fell into disrepair. During this period, 16 civilians became martyrs, including one schoolchild.”

He noted that 15 out of 16 schools that have become unusable have already been renovated.

After the speeches, the veteran’s daughter, student Zahra Seyidli and her classmates recited poems on the topic of the Motherland.

Then, a tree planting campaign was held in the school yard with the support of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the IDEA Public Association and the Regional Development Public Association.
