Mobile vaccination sites in Baku schools resume operations

Mobile vaccination sites for education workers have resumed operations in secondary schools in Azerbaijan.

Report informs that the Ministry of Health and the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance are working jointly to vaccinate education workers in Baku secondary schools No 14, 56, 129, 158, and 276.

Advisor to Minister of Education Rustam Agayev told journalists that the number of such sites had been increased to step up the vaccination of the education workers.

"In some cases, we observe denseness at vaccination sites. Therefore, we have created five vaccination sites in places of compact settlement of people in Baku," he said.

The advisor to the minister reminded that over 82-83% of education workers are vaccinated.

"The process has been going on at a faster pace over the past weeks. I hope that in the coming weeks, the number of vaccinated education workers will grow," he said.
