The quality of textbooks for Azerbaijani-language schools in Georgia and Georgian-language schools in Azerbaijan will be improved, said Kakha Khandolishvili, head of Strategic Planning and International Relations Department at the Georgian Ministry of Education and Science.

"There is an agreement between Azerbaijan and Georgia on the exchange of textbooks only on Mother Tongue and Literature. As for textbooks in history, mathematics, geography, and others, there is a need to improve their quality. Joint work will be done with the Azerbaijani side in this direction," he noted.

The ministry official added that the process of sending textbooks in the Mother Tongue and Literature to Georgian-language schools in Azerbaijan is nearing completion: "We have already received approval from our Azerbaijani colleagues, and the textbooks will be sent next week."
