A meeting between Georgia’s Minister of Education, Science and Youth Givi Mikanadze and Azerbaijan’s Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev was held in Baku.
Report informs, citing Georgia’s Ministry of Education, Science and Youth, that the sides discussed ongoing education reforms in both countries, current bilateral cooperation, and priority areas for future collaboration.
Mikanadze highlighted Georgia’s ongoing initiatives to support Azerbaijani schoolchildren, students, and teachers. These include programs aimed at strengthening language instruction in schools and increasing funding in higher education institutions.

The two ministers also addressed the reactivation of a joint working group made up of representatives from both countries' education ministries. It was agreed that the group will resume operations in August this year.
