A three-year educational program has been completed in Azerbaijan to open British learning centers Learning Hubs, Report informs.
Today Baku hosted the closing ceremony of the program, which was attended by British Ambassador to Azerbaijan James Sharp, Director of the British Council in Azerbaijan Francis Gardener-Trejo, as well as representatives of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Education.
The Learning Hubs educational project was implemented during challenging times for both children and teachers, first due to the COVID-19 pandemic and then the second Karabakh war in 2020, British Ambassador to Azerbaijan James Sharp said at the ceremony.
The British envoy also emphasized the resilience and dedication of the teachers of the training centers in these difficult times.
"I had the honor to visit learning centers all over Azerbaijan, from Zagatala to Lankaran, from Barda to Masazir, and I was impressed by the excellent level of teaching and the children's enthusiasm for learning new skills," the Ambassador said.
Then, he expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Education and local communities for the full support of the initiative.
