The Association of Young Teachers of Azerbaijan has announced the registration for the second semester of the "Native Language - Azerbaijani School" project, aimed at Azerbaijanis living abroad. This initiative provides an opportunity for compatriots of various age groups residing in foreign countries to study the Azerbaijani language remotely.
Interested participants can enroll in free Azerbaijani language classes, which are formed based on age, language proficiency level, and time zone. The lessons take place twice a week on the Microsoft Teams platform, under the guidance of professional teachers. The program encompasses the study of Azerbaijan's history, literature, geography, and culture.
Registration is open until January 17, and classes are set to commence on January 25.
Since the project's launch last year, over 1,000 individuals from more than 30 countries have joined, including Russia, Iran, Germany, the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Türkiye, Sweden, and France. While the project primarily targets participants aged 6-18, additional groups have been created for adults over 18 years old. Currently, more than 300 people are enrolled in the classes.
