Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva have today inaugurated a new building of academician Heydar Huseynov Charhan village secondary school in Shamakhi District.
The previous school building was built in 1972, Report informs. As the secondary school was no longer suitable for teaching, it was decided to build a new building for the school on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
The school building for 420-student consists of 5 buildings. There are classrooms, physics, chemistry and biology laboratories, computer science, military training, medicine, labor training rooms, a library, a canteen, assembly and gymnasiums, an outdoor sports field.
