Azerbaijani education minister meets with Georgian premier - UPDATED

The meeting between Azerbaijani Minister of Education Emin Amrullayev and Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili discussed the strategic partnership between the two countries, expansion of cooperation in the field of education, and science, Report informs.

It was discussed that the agreement on cooperation between the Ministries of Education of Georgia and Azerbaijan would strengthen relations between scientific, higher, and vocational education institutions of the two countries, improving the quality of teaching Georgian Azerbaijani languages and literature.

The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Mikheil Chkhenkeli and Azerbaijani Ambassador Faig Guliyev.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has today met with Azerbaijani Minister of Education Emin Amrullayev, who is on an official visit to the country, Report informs, citing the press service of the Georgian government.
