The first exhibition dedicated to educational opportunities in Malaysia will be held in Azerbaijan in December, Malaysian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Dato Yubazlan bin Yusof told journalists, Report informs.
He said that Azerbaijani students will be provided with a scholarship to study in this country.
"For Azerbaijan, the most popular countries for education are Turkiye, Ukraine and Russia, so we want to offer an alternative. After all, education is a passport to the future," the ambassador said.
Dato Yubazlan bin Yusof noted that Malaysia has become an important economic player in the region with a developed economy, but in addition, the country is also a hub in the education sector. So, today students from 162 countries study in Malaysia, he said.
In addition, 82% of international students also receive financial support, they are provided with special student loans and scholarships, he added.
