Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan to conduct annual student exchanges

Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan plan to conduct student exchanges annually, the Azerbaijani Science and Education Ministry told Report.

The two countries intend to carry out an annual exchange of 12 students in various educational programs.

According to the bilateral protocol, 3 students will be exchanged annually at the bachelor's level, 5 at the master's level, 2 at the doctoral level, 2 at the basic higher medical education level and 2 at the residency level.

On March 11, a signing ceremony of Azerbaijani-Kazakh documents took place with the participation of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

During the ceremony, the Minister of Science and Education of Azerbaijan Emin Amrullayev and the Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek signed the “Protocol on amendments to the Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of education dated April 3, 2017".
