ADA University holds International Leadership Research Forum

Baku has hosted the International Leadership Research Forum at ADA University.

Report informs that domestic and foreign specialists and educators representing Azerbaijan, Georgia, Finland, Australia, South Africa, Norway and Germany took part in the forum.

Elina Fonsen, the Associate Professor at the University of Tampere (Finland), told reporters that teachers in Azerbaijan have a very high level of training. At the same time, she noted that in Finland the lessons are held in a more free atmosphere, also with a lot of outdoor exercises, which, perhaps, is the success of the high level of education in the country.

In turn, the director of the Institute of Education Rufat Azizov, speaking at the event, noted that in recent years the coverage of children with preschool education has increased in Azerbaijan. And this indicator is planned to be brought up to 100%.

Azizov also noted that according to Azerbaijan's strategy, the number of teachers trained and certified in the field of preschool education is planned to be increased to 17,000.
