After a few days of mild weather in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, from the morning of March 30 to the evening of April 1 the northwest wind is expected to increase to 15-20 m/s, occasionally up to 25-30 m/s, Report informs, citing the National Hydrometeorological Service.
Intermittent rain is expected from the evening of March 30 to April 1. The air temperature will gradually decrease by 5-10 degrees compared to the previous days.
On the morning of March 30, the weather conditions will start to change in the northern and western districts of Azerbaijan. Snow is predicted in the mountainous and foothill areas, and rainfall will intensify in some areas of the Greater and Lesser Caucasus.
On March 31, it is expected that the rainfall will cover most of the districts, and in some places, it will be intense sleet and snow.
In the second half of April 1, the intensity of rain will decrease and in the evening, it will stop. There is a possibility of hail in some places. The west wind will strengthen occasionally in some areas.
The air temperature will gradually decrease by 8-10 degrees compared to the previous days. There is a possibility that the water level in the rivers will increase.
