Rain is expected in some places in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula from October 21 until noon the next day, Report informs via the National Hydrometeorological Service.
Thunderstorms with heavy rain are possible in some parts of the peninsula. Short-term precipitation with thunderstorms is expected in the northern and western regions until the morning of October 23.
In some places (Gazakh-Ganja, Nakhchivan AR, Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur, Balakan-Sheki, Guba-Gusar, Mountainous Shirvan, Central Aran, Lankaran-Astara), intense downpours and hail are possible, as well as snow in mountainous areas.
The western wind will temporarily intensify to 18-23 m/s in some places.
Water levels in rivers are expected to rise, with possible short-term floods and mudflows in some rivers of the Greater and Lesser Caucasus, as well as the Lankaran-Astara region.
