Over 600 trees planted in Azerbaijan’s Fuzuli district

At the initiative of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, a media tour was organized to the Garamammadli village of Fuzuli district liberated from occupation.

Report’s employee sent to Fuzuli said that during the visit, more than 600 trees of various species were planted on 1 hectare in the village.

During a media tour organized by the ministry to the Fuzuli and Khojavend districts liberated from occupation, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Vugar Kerimov told reporters that in connection with the damage to green spaces by Armenians during the occupation period, monitoring is being carried out in four directions.

“The damage is being calculated and the result will be submitted to the relevant structures to put forward compensation claims to Armenia. After the territories are cleared of mines, larger-scale reforestation work will be carried out,” he said.
