Number of meteorological stations in Azerbaijan to be increased to 77

The number of meteorological stations is planned to be increased to 77 in Azerbaijan by 2026, Akbar Asgarov, deputy director of the National Hydrometeorology Department, said at the Turkic World II Meteorological Forum held in Baku, Report informs.

According to him, the number of automatic meteorological stations increased from 34 to 51 during 2020-2022.
