A meeting of the Scientific Coordination Council on Hunting Affairs of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources was held on the basis of citizens' appeals to increase the number of hunting days, Report informs citing Hikmat Alizade, department director of the Ministry told reporters.
He said that, like in many countries, hunting days are set to Saturday and Sunday to control hunting activities, regulate the use of wildlife, and restore their stability. However, taking into account requests from citizens, the decision was made at the meeting to set Friday as hunting day as well.
