Nobel laureate: Problem of water resources growing more relevant

Given climate change, the problem of water scarcity is growing more and more relevant, 2015 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Ouided Bouchamaoui said at the panel session “Combating Climate Change and Meeting the Global Need for Energy: How do we do both?” within the VIII Global Baku Forum, Report informs.

The Nobel laureate called for the preservation of the planet's water resources, as well as the rational use of water.

She expressed the hope that the countries will come to such a decision as a result of the UN climate conference COP26 in Glasgow.
