Baku. 2 November. REPORT.AZ/ "We all know that there is a danger of exhaustion of fish resources along with other environmental problems in our country. Today’s most important and relevant issue is to prevent the decline in the number of fish species, especially sturgeon in the Caspian Sea," spokesperson of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Irada Ibrahimova said.
Report informs that she was speaking at a press conference held in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources (MENR).
She said that one of the main ways of solving this problem is to create civil and modern farms in natural and artificial water basins in Azerbaijan and in the whole world: "Creating such fishing farms will increase the number fish products in the food chain, cause decline in fish prices, and open new jobs in the region.
