Climate change has led to a new situation in the world, Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Alakbarov said at the international conference "Climate Change and Just Transition: The Role and Activities of Trade Unions" organized by the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan, Report informs.
He noted that the search for answers to new challenges has been underway for many years.
"Azerbaijan is one of the first countries that seeks to contribute to the fight against climate change. We have specific commitments in this direction, and we are actively working to fulfill them," the deputy minister added.
