Global climate change is a result of man-made actions. Climate change cannot be fought by involving only a few organizations, Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (TBMM) Numan Kurtulmus said at the 13th session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) held in Baku, Report informs.
He noted that environmental pollution and global warming will lead to disasters and crises: “We must focus on this problem. People are polluting the universe in an unbalanced way. We must protect balance and justice in every part of the world.”
Kurtulmus added that some countries, especially powerful ones, neglect the environment: “Therefore, as the Turkic world, we should be an example with what we do.”
