Brown bears vaccinated in Altiagaj 

Brown bears kept in the Altiagaj Wildlife Rehabilitation Center have been vaccinated, Report informs.

The representatives of "FOUR PAWS International," an animal welfare organization, visited Azerbaijan in order to share the experience of examination, treatment, and vaccination of wild animals and to apply new, more innovative methods in this field.

Within the framework of the trip organized by Farid Mansurov, the head of the Good World Animal Rescue and Protection (“GWARP”), specialists examined, treated, and vaccinated the brown bears kept in the Altiagaj Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.

At the same time, representatives of "FOUR PAWS International" held training for students and teachers of Azerbaijan Agrarian University, including doctors of Baku Zoo, at the wildlife rehabilitation center located in Altiagaj National Park on November 7-9.

Veterinary students and teachers had the opportunity to see and benefit from the experience of examination, diagnosis, treatment, and surgical operations of wild animals.

Within the framework of the visit, the foundation of cooperation between "FOUR PAWS International" and the Service of the Protection of Biodiversity was laid.
