British Ambassador urges Azerbaijan to step up fight against climate change

A recent report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change found that current nationally defined measures are insufficient to contain global warming to 1.5°C, British Ambassador to Azerbaijan James Sharp said on Twitter, Report informs.

“We call on all countries, including Azerbaijan, to adopt more ambitious goals and long-term zero-emission strategies. For a bright and healthy future!” the diplomat tweeted.
