The weather is expected to bring short-term rain to some areas in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula during the daytime, with light fog developing at night and in the early morning on January 5, Report informs, citing the National Hydrometeorological Service of Azerbaijan.
The southwest wind will shift to a northwest direction and will occasionally strengthen during the day.
The temperature will be +3 – +6°C at night and +7 – +9°C in the daytime. Atmospheric pressure will rise from 761 mm Hg to 767 mm Hg. Relative humidity will be 70-80%.
On January 5, the weather is expected to be mostly dry in the districts of Azerbaijan. However, there may be occasional precipitation in some areas during the evening, with snowfall possible in the mountainous regions. Fog is likely to occur in some places, and the west wind will occasionally strengthen throughout the day.
The temperature will be -2 – +3°C at night, and +10 – +15°C in the daytime.
In the highlands, it will be -10 – -5°C at night, and 2 – +7°C in the daytime.
