The community of Western Azerbaijan has sent a letter to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, according to Report.
The letter reads that the community has developed a concept of safe return based on international law: "The community is determined to achieve the process of return by peaceful means and has chosen the path of dialogue for its implementation. In this regard, the community explains its position to international organizations and relevant states through political and diplomatic channels.
"Undoubtedly, a dialogue with the Armenian Government should constitute an important part of the return process, which should be carried out in the political plane. Keeping in our historical memory the great disasters inflicted on us by the Armenian side, we at the same time accept that the path to peace and development lies through dialogue and reconciliation."
In the letter, the Western Azerbaijan Community calls on Nikol Pashinyan to start a dialogue on the issue of return.
