Western Azerbaijan Community condemns Adam Schiff's anti-Azerbaijani bill

The Western Azerbaijan Community has strongly denounced the latest anti-Azerbaijani bill introduced by pro-Armenian Congressman Adam Schiff on September 18, 2024.

According to Report, in a statement, the Western Azerbaijan Community called the bill "a provocative and erroneous step both in name and content."

"Adam Schiff's traditional anti-Azerbaijani position and corrupt ties with the Armenian lobby call into question his sincerity. Given that Karabakh Armenians rejected the proposals of the Azerbaijani state for reintegration and citizenship and freely left the country, this bill by Schiff is based on slander. Adam Schiff ignored and even supported the forced eviction resulting from the ethnic cleansing of 300,000 Azerbaijanis from Armenia and 700,000 Azerbaijanis from territories of Azerbaijan that were under long-term occupation, as well as the damage caused to property, economy, and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijanis amounting to hundreds of billions of US dollars. All this shows that the presented bill is an attempt to blackmail Azerbaijan. This move is also aimed at dealing a serious blow to US-Azerbaijani relations," the statement says.
