For the first time in 30 years, extraordinary parliamentary elections are being held across the entire territory of Azerbaijan, including the liberated regions. Report news agency informs that voter enthusiasm is being observed at polling stations, including liberated territories.
In these parliamentary elections, 990 candidates are competing for 125 deputy mandates. The total number of voters in Azerbaijan is 6,421,960. Voting is taking place at 6,478 polling stations formed within the territory of 125 constituencies across the country. Among these, 54 polling stations have been set up in the liberated territories.
Polling stations opened at 8:00 AM and voting will continue until 7:00 PM.
