Vilayat Eyvazov visits military unit of Internal Troops of Interior Ministry in Gabala

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Vilayat Eyvazov, held another reception at the Gabala District Police Department (RPSH) on January 25 and 26 following the reception schedule of citizens in the regions, Reporrt informs.

It was reported that the minister first visited the monument of the national leader Heydar Aliyev in the city of Gabala and commemorated his memory with great respect and reverence.

After listening to the appeals of 104 citizens from the cities and districts of Sheki, Balakan, Gakh, Oguz, Zagatala and Gabala in the administrative building of the District Police Department, the minister gave instructions to the heads of the relevant departments of the Ministry to solve their problems.

Most of the appeals were resolved on the spot.

Within the framework of the visit, Colonel-General Eyvazov went to the military unit of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs located in Gabala. The minister visited the monument erected there in memory of the military personnel who died for Azerbaijan's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The minister cared about in the military personnel's barracks and living conditions and got acquainted with the supply of weapons, car and armored vehicles, and construction works carried out in the area.

Then, an operational meeting was held with the command staff at the headquarters of the military unit. The Minister gave specific tasks and recommendations to the military personnel and expressed his confidence that they will continue to cope with the duties and tasks defined by the legislation.

In the end, minister Eyvazov held a personnel inspection regarding the recruitment of rank-and-file and junior officers in the police authorities of the district.

Young people who live in the surrounding regions and who wish to serve in the police took part in the parade. 131 people, 34 of them participants of the Patriotic War, and 3 members of the families of martyrs, who met the conditions of admission to the service, were admitted to the next stage of the selection round.
