MPs of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine monitored elections at 10 polling stations in Azerbaijan, Ukrainian MP Volodymyr Kreidenko said, Report informs.
"These are not the first elections that I have observed in Azerbaijan, and all of them were free, without a hint of pressure. Today, my colleagues and I visited ten polling stations in Baku. At all of them, citizens had the opportunity to vote freely for their candidate," he said.
According to him, the most important thing for an observer is commitment to democracy and international law.
Kreidenko also stressed that he highly appreciates the assistance of the Azerbaijani people and politicians to Ukraine during the ongoing war. "I hope that cooperation between our countries will reach new heights in various fields," he added.
