Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci, embassy employees, as well as the representatives of the Turkish companies operating in the country and Azerbaijani public figures have visited the memorial for Turkish soldiers on the occasion of the Türkiye Victory Day.
Those present observed a moment's silence in memory of the fallen soldiers. Then, the state anthems of Azerbaijan and Türkiye were played.
Ambassador Cahit Bagci spoke about the courage of the Turkish soldiers led by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, honored memory of the martyrs and noted the importance of the Victory Day. Then the ambassador laid flowers to the memorial.
He also visited the Martyrs' Alley and laid a wreath to the monument of Eternal Flame.
