Training sessions on mine security underway for farmers from Lachin and Kalbajar

Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) and International Eurasia Press Fund have organized training sessions to raise public awareness on the threat of mines and unexploded ordnance for farmers who will move to Lachin and Kalbajar.

Report informs, citing ANAMA, that 2,374 people will take part in the four-day training.

Citizens are informed about signs of suspicious areas, rules of conduct in dangerous areas, warning signs. They are also shown models of various types of mines and ammunition for visual recognition.
