Ten Azerbaijani-made Revival P demining vehicles have been used in mine clearance operations, the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) told Report.
Ten more Revival P mechanical demining vehicles produced by the Improtex Group of Companies under the “Made in Azerbaijan” brand were delivered to the ANAMA.
According to international demining standards, mechanical demining equipment is used to detect anti-personnel and anti-tank mine lines, prepare areas for clearing, and reduce suspicious areas with the support of mine-detecting dogs.
Revival P anti-personnel mechanical minesweepers are resistant to 7 kg TNT blasts. The total weight of the equipment is 6.5 tons, the remote control distance is 2,000 meters. Machines with a cleaning depth of 300 mm are easily operated in areas with a slope and hard soil cover.
The acquired Revival P demining equipment will greatly contribute to the humanitarian demining activities carried out within the framework of the Great Return program, which ensures the safe return of former IDPs to their homelands.
