Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons Rovshan Rzayev met in Ganja with former IDPs from the city of Khankandi and the village of Karkijahan, Report informs, citing the committee.
At the meeting, citizens were informed that, within the framework of the Great Return, large-scale projects are currently being implemented to restore and reconstruct the territories liberated from occupation, and the necessary measures are being taken to ensure the voluntary, safe and dignified return of internally displaced persons to their native lands, including to Khankandi.
Residents said they were ready to return to Khankandi and live in their hometown.
The internally displaced persons who participated in the meeting shared their opinions and made their proposals regarding the return process.
