He reported that to date, 3,128 residents have resettled in the Lachin district, with 2,090 living in the city of Lachin and the rest in the villages of Zabukh and Sus.

"Restoration work continues in the village of Beylik, where 91 families are planned to be resettled next year. Design work is also underway for the construction of the village of Gulabird. The resettlement of residents to this village is planned for 2025-2026," Mammadov said.

He stated that in the near future, the number of jobs in the district will increase due to ongoing projects, including in the tourism sector.

"First of all, returning residents are employed in urban infrastructure and construction and restoration work, as well as in opening industrial enterprises. In the near future, residents will have the opportunity to work in hotel complexes that will be built in Lachin. I would also like to note that we have investment projects related to construction and agriculture. This means that there will be no problems with employment here," Mammadov noted.

The president's special representative spoke about the progress of demining work in Lachin. He noted that some areas have already been cleared, but danger still remains in several territories. According to him, work on informing citizens about mine danger in the liberated territories continues. Masim Mammadov noted that the announcement of Lachin as the CIS cultural capital in 2025 represents both a wonderful opportunity and a great responsibility.

"Together with the Ministry of Culture, we will develop a program of events that will take place as part of the announcement of Lachin as the CIS cultural capital. Various cultural events are planned here during these days: concerts, exhibitions, festivals, and master classes," said the special representative.
