Serbian observer says Azerbaijan elections meet democratic standards

Serbian MP Zivota Starcevic, who observed the voting process in the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, said that his delegation visited several polling stations and the elections were held in accordance with democratic standards, Report informs.

The observer noted that no cases were recorded that could interfere with the voting process.

"The voting took place in peaceful conditions. No violations were recorded at the polling stations where we conducted monitoring. Thanks to the professionalism of the Central Election Commission, everything was at a high level," Zivota Starcevic emphasized.

The parliamentarian added that the staff at the polling stations demonstrated a high level of professionalism.

"This shows that they have received the necessary training," he concluded.
